FTPUpload

FTPUpload is meant to be used by developers and web admins who need a simple means of transferring files from a PC to a website via FTP. That’s right, FTPUpload is a FTP client. Connect to a FTP server and you can use FTPUpload to upload and manage all the files on the server.

To get started with FTPUpload, you will have to go through the following steps: download a ZIP archive on your computer, extract its contents, run FTPUpload.exe, click through the setup wizard until you’re done with the installation. Please note that FTPUpload is a Win32 application.

The main panel on FTPUpload’s interface presents all the files that you uploaded to the FTP server. Above this main panel there’s a traditional File Menu and a toolbar with buttons for various features and functions: start a new transfer, open a document, save the active document, connect to FTP server, shutdown the connection to the FTP server, and so on. Overall, it’s a simple layout and it shouldn’t take you very long to figure out FTPUpload’s interface.

If you need help using FTPUpload, go and access the Help file from the eponymously named Help menu. FTPUpload’s Help file lists the main features that this FTP client puts at your disposal, explains how to configure the application, and more.

FTPUpload is free software. It’s worth pointing out that the latest update, version 1.04, was released back in 2005. FTPUpload hasn’t received any updates since then.
